Organizational Unit Contact History

Overview:

 

Organizational Unit Contact History allows you to view history (in chronological view) of the contact recently made for a particular organizational unit.  For example, a user can review a history of all of the recent contact in chronological order even if the contact is spread across several requests.

 

 

 

 

1. Define Criteria:

 

 

Define search criteria to obtain a listing of organizational units whose contact history you wish to view.  Search by Name or Type.

 

2. Organizational Unit Listing:

 

 

 

This section displays search results of organizational units searched for.  Each organizational unit listed will display the organizational unit name.

 

Viewing a Organizational Unit Contact History

To view a contact history of a organizational unit under the History Group - Click "Contact", and select "Organizational Unit Contact History" from the drop-down menu.

 

 

This will display a "Find" window that allows you to choose a organizational unit.

You can then select a date range, and the following window will be displayed.

 

 

 

 

Note: The Organizational Unit Contact History is very similar to a Organizational Unit Request History, except that it displays a line item for each memo entered in the selected date range. All memos in the organizational unit’s requests are shown, including any trace memos.

 

This window contains 4 different areas.

 

1. The Ribbon Toolbar

 

 

The ribbon toolbar will present several tabs with varying options to address requests in the Organizational Unit Contact History window.

2. Project Pane

 

 

If the selected request in the request listing is a member of a project, this project preview pane will appear.  Here you can view the project that a request is a part of.

 

 

3. Contact History List

 

 

This section allows you to view all memos created by a specific organizational unit.

 

 

4. Request Details Pane

 

 

This section will allow you to view detailed information regarding the request selected in the Contact History List.

 

This pane contains two tabs:

 

 

 

Note: An Attachments tab will also appear if attachments have been made to a request.
