Managing Existing Categories

Overview:

Categories are assigned to all Service Requests for reporting and analysis purposes.  This function allows you to manage your categories using the screen shown below.

 

 

 

 

 

 

1. Ribbon Toolbar:

 

 

Category

 

              

         

Find

 

 

 

2. Active Category Structure Tree-view:

 

 

"Active Category Structure" shows the actual categories that can be used in HelpSTAR – i.e. the Categories that a user may specify in their requests.

 

 

3. Available Categories:

 

"Available Categories" are building blocks that are used to create the "Active Category Structure".
